Description: Watch Not Forgotten - Dark Earth ► youtube.com/watch?v=0rzLcDQNG3g In researching my last video about the underappreciated 1997 action-adventure game, Dark Earth, I learned a lot more about the development of the game, and hints at the many planned trans-media expansions into its world. A big-budget movie, a TV show, a tabletop role-playing game, multiple sequel projects and more. In my investigation, I located Guillaume Le Pennec, who oversaw the game’s production as well as wrote the worldbuilding "bible" of which the franchise was based upon. We did an audio interview, and I used much of his insight when completing my scripted video about the game. Though some of this information may be redundant with that video now, I still find our talk insightful, and it's a fascinating curiosity to hear first-hand how a now-obscure game NEARLY became a household name around the entire world.
